Why should I book my cars with D.S. Wedding cars?

This should be your first question and the simplest for us to answer. Firstly, we know what we are doing as we have successfully completed lots and lots of weddings and other types of hire, so we have a wealth of experience behind us.

Secondly, we are friendly and helpful also dedicated and committed to making yours a wonderful stress free day.

We are also for most of the time at the end of the phone so as you have someone who has years of experience to advise and help you as often as you need.

Can I view the cars before I book?

Yes you certainly can and we always prefer customers to view the cars as this is how people realise what wonderful condition our cars are in. So if you book with us or others always view as pictures do tell fibs.

How long is the car ours for?

Our standard booking time is up to a 4 hour period or the duration of your wedding although we are not going to leave you standing on the church steps.

All we ask is for as much information prior to your wedding, things like , timings, stopping on route to venues for photographs, we are flexible so please ask.

How many journeys will the bridal car make?

This is all down to time and will depend on the distance from pick up address to the ceremony venue; if it is only 5-10 minutes then the bridal car could take bridesmaids and mum to the ceremony venue and return for the bride.

Do you provide ribbons, or can we supply our own?

We do provide either white or cream ribbons to all our cars but if you would prefer you are more than welcome to supply your own colour, just ask us how many metres you need.

Are there Flowers in the car?

We do supply Silk flowers to the parcel shelf’s of all our cars and they are of neutral colours, but if you would like to have your own please advise us.

How many people can we fit in each car?

This will depend on the cars you have chosen as you can appreciate the cars are insured for the amount of seats they were made with,. So please do not ask us to carry more people than stated as this would invalidate our insurance.

Please note that most of our cars do not have seat belts fitted because of their year, unfortunately this means no child seats as they will not be restrained.

Can we put luggage and belongings in the boot of the car?

Yes of course you can, but you or someone you choose must be responsible for remembering to remove it at the end of the hire.

Do you offer discounts or match other prices?

We offer discounts sometimes if 2 or more cars are booked.  We also have special offers at the wedding fairs we attend throughout the year.

As for price matching we do not , we supply a good old fashioned first class service with cars second to none and feel our service is worth more than we charge.

Please remember we do not give an inflated price to start with and lower it. We will offer you our best price at the time of your enquiry and that will be the final price.

Please remember your wedding day is not a day to compromise and cut corners.

The question we have to ask, what happens if the car breaks down?

One with a few answers so I will do my best to make it as simple as possible,

If the car breaks down before the wedding date we will do our best to have it repaired and ready before the wedding day. If we cannot do this we will inform you and offer you a car of similar standing.

If the car breaks down on the wedding the chauffeur will do all the checks possible but bear in mind he is not a mechanic, if this has no result we will do our best to get you there one way or another, phone for a cab, hail down a passing car. Due to time and distance we will do our best to get a replacement car there as soon as possible; if at all possible.

Cars are machines and from time to time things do go wrong but this does not in any way reflect on our commitment to maintain our cars to the highest possible standards.
